upgrade the 486 for heavens sake. for as long as I can remember, phpclasses.org has been slow as sh*t.

It depends on what you call slow.

For the last weeks and until last week there was a configuration problem that was making MySQL server getting 3 times more connections than it should. The problem was fixed last week and it is no longer slow as before.
