 Migrating to UTF-8 is in the plans but it is not a trivial matter. It is not just a matter of converting the text, but as well converting code that does things like breaking strings, which is something that requires different code to be done in UTF-8.
 
 It is on the to do list but I cannot promise when it will happen. Please be patient.
